SEGA has gone live with a new 1.4.0 update for Sonic Origins on Switch.
While no one will deny that the games included in the collection are classics, the package itself had a number of issues. We’re talking bugs, issues that impacted the gameplay, and problems with the presentation. Some of these aspects have now been addressed.
The full patch notes for the Sonic Origins version 1.4.0 update are as follows:
– Game crashing issues
– Issues with Tails’ AI
– Sound bugs
– Menu and controller issues
– Museum miscredits
– Data saving issues
Sonic Origins includes Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD. Additionally, it contains a new Anniversary mode, challenges, a museum, and more.
All players on Switch can download the new update for Sonic Origins now. We’ll give you a heads up if any additional patches are distributed in the future.
