The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria lays claim to the fact that it is the only survival crafting game set in the Fourth Age of Middle-earth. In it, players will be able to follow the Dwarves of J.R.R. Tolkien’s iconic series as they set out to reclaim their legendary home of Moria, located beneath the Misty Mountains.

This title features procedurally generated environments, ensuring that no two adventures will be the same. Playable in either single-player or co-operatively (with support for up to eight people), players can set out to conserve and manage resources and factors like food, sleep, temperature, and noise levels.

Of course, there are treasures to be had. Riches include swords that glow when Orcs are near, maps of long-dormant Mithril veins, books that feature crafting plans, and amulets that grant both strength and wisdom.

The game will come out for the PlayStation 5 and PC via Epic Games Stores on October 24. Note that the Xbox Series X|S version will launch later, in early 2024.

One can also stay on top of the conversation with the official Discord for the title.
