Fortnite Festival is a brand-new music experience coming to Fortnite on December 9. To celebrate the release of this new game mode, Epic Games has prepared a special in-game event: a concert with global music star The Weeknd.
The special event will give players an early look at how the Fortnite Festival game mode will play out moving forward. It’ll also give players a closer look at The Weeknd’s official Fortnite skin, which will be useable in Battle Royale game modes.

Inspired by the classic rhythm game franchise Rock Band, Fortnite Festival will allow players to jam out solo or with friends. Leaks in late November revealed some of the featured artists in the Fortnite Festival include Lady Gaga, Imagine Dragons, Linkin Park, Toto, and Alice Cooper. Songs will have Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert difficulties, and players will have a separate scoreboard to climb.
