Here are the top 5 Valorant players who dominated the 2024 EMEA Kickoff with incredible stats

With rookies and underdogs dominating the event, the EMEA Kickoff has ended by crowning Karmine Corp as the winner.

Team Heretics are accompanying them as the second squad from the region for Masters Madrid. Such upsets were possible due to the incredible performance of a few newcomers, who have made their way to the top of the leaderboard.

After looking at the VLR rating of the event, here are the top 5 players at the 2024 EMEA Kickoff.

5. Kirill “Cloud” Nehozhin – GIANTX

GIANTX only played two matches in the league, where they lost both series, leading to an early elimination. Even with such a low map count, Russian player Cloud had some incredible numbers.

The 20-year-old towered over his teammates when it came to stats while playing supportive Agents like Breach, Fade and Skye. On GIANTX’s first series against Karmine Corp, Cloud had the highest Average Combat Score (ACS) in all 3 maps, and he did that while playing Initiator and getting a high number of assists.

His highest score comes from the team’s 13-6 loss against FUT Esports, where the Initiator secured 303 ACS through 20-14 K-D. Unfortunately, even with Cloud’s incredible performance, the rest of the team failed to show up, resulting in a 0-2 record for the squad.

Chronicle, the player with the most success in the history of Valorant, is naturally expected to do well in events like these. The 21-year-old was the best player from Fnatic at the Kickoff, which says a lot when names like Emir “Alfajer” Beder, Nikita “Derke” Sirmitev and Leo “Leo” Jannesson are on the same team.

The flex player dominated in the two series Fnatic played before getting eliminated in the semifinals. His best stats were in the 0-2 loss against Karmine Corp, with a K-D of 33-32 and 217 ACS in two maps.

Even with Chronicle bringing world-class play alongside Alfajer, Fnatic faced a huge upset in the single-elimination playoffs, losing their chance to make it to Masters Madrid.

The EMEA scene has witnessed the rise of several rookies who came over from the Challengers scene and dominated tier 1. MiniBoo is one such player who spent most of his 2023 with Case Esports, partaking in Ascension last year.

After joining his brother Ričardas “Boo” Lukaševičius in Team Heretics as the primary Duelist, this novice has shown stats reminiscent of Max “Demon1” Mazanov from last year.

The “brother buff” was on full display at this event as both Boo and MiniBoo were consistently on top of the scoreboard for their team, helping the squad secure its first-ever Masters. These two built a strong ground that allowed the underdogs to rise up.

MiniBoo’s best numbers come from the 2-0 Group Stage game against Karmine Corp, where the Lithuanian had an ACS of 393 on Raze with a 24-10 K-D.

2. Marshall “N4RRATE” Massey – Karmine Corp

• Average Combat Score (ACS): 249.9

Another former tier 2 player who cemented his name at this event was Karmine Corp’s N4RRATE, who was an excellent player in the North American Challengers League last year. His excellence helped KC restore its reputation, from being one of the worst rosters in the 2023 EMEA Leauge to winning the Kickoff this year.

The 21-year-old played as a flex for KC, taking on Agents like Fade and Gekko alongside Duelists, and he had excellent impacts with all of those roles. He’s proven himself as a consistent fragger, especially since KC had to play 7 matches at the event by going through the play-ins.

N4RRATE’s 300 ACS performance against KOI was by far his best. In that play-in match, he secured a 25-9 with Gekko on Sunset and continued to dominate with many first bloods on Bind playing Raze.

Even though FUT couldn’t make it past the group stage, 22-year-old AtaKaptan managed to secure the best stats of the event. He did his best for the Turkish squad to win by dominating on supportive Agents like Breach, Omen and Viper. Sadly, the team had to play in a group that contained two of the finalists.

The 22-year-old was consistent in all three matches played by FUT, and his best was against Karmine Corp, where AtaKaptan started with a 30 bomb on Breach, then continued to dominate with Omen with a 20-9 K-D.
