Latest news – Adidas event coming soon

What’s this? 99 ratings for select Adidas athletes? Intriguing.

EA confirmed the Adidas 99 collaboration live on Twitch, with Giovanni Reyna the first player to be confirmed as part of the event.

During the event, each player selected to receive a new special card will see a boost to one of their six base stats, taking it all the way up to 99!

The ‘don’t stop till you’re 99’ concept will be a live system, meaning the players will improve throughout the FUT 22 cycle.

Release Date

The next Team of the Week squad in FUT 22 will be released on Wednesday, 10 November.

The Team of the Week squad will be released into packs at the usual time of 1pm ET / 6pm GMT, so set your watches for then!

All the new cards will be available in packs for one week from when they are released, with some great new cards possibly arriving.

The new cards will likely replace the second set of Rulebreakers players in packs as the promo event winds to a close.

Predictions

There were quiet weeks for Cristiano Ronaldo and Mohamed Salah this week, but it wouldn’t be a Team of the Week prediction if it didn’t include one of the world’s best players!

Luckily, France and PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe came to the rescue with two assists and a goal as PSG laboured to a 3-2 win over Bordeaux.

Without an in-form card yet in FUT 22, Mbappe could be set to receive a card with a new rating of 92 OVR.

Elsewhere, Man City’s Portuguese full-back Joao Cancelo played a starring role in the Manchester derby, providing two assists in a comfortable 2-0 win for Pep Guardiola’s men.

RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku also continued his excellent start to the season, scoring and assisting in a crucial win over Borussia Dortmund.

TOTW 8 Leaks

Futtyleaks on Twitter has leaked the first Team of the Week 8 player and it’s a BIG one!

It looks like Neymar could feature this week, after his match-winning brace last weekend for PSG.

That’s not all though, as 14 players have now been leaked by FUTZone on Twitter.

Premier League stars Joao Cancelo, Kurt Zouma, and Ben White could all be joining Neymar in this week’s squad.

Dynamic Cards

Milan remains the only club to reach the five-win bonus, with Fikayo Tomori the sole recipient of the ‘Wins to Watch’ upgrade so far.

Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and Sevilla are all on the edge with four wins, leaving six players on the edge of a boost!

With plenty of time to get that last win too (four games), expect to see some upgrades for these stars following the international break.

As far as Ones to Watch players being selected in TOTW 8, it doesn’t look all that promising this week!
