TSM finalize roster with Whitemon and UK young talent Ari

Dota 2

TSM will enter the new Dota Pro Circuit season with a brand new support duo.

After Kim “DuBu” Doo-youngin has officially parted ways with TSM in early November, the team’s captain, David “MoonMeander” Tan has also stepped down from active play. However, the latter is not leaving the team. Beginning with the next season, MoonMeander will be taking the coaching role, which leaves TSM’s support positions in need of replacements.

With about a week until the shuffle deadline, TSM filled in the spots with players hailing from Indonesia and UK, making their roster a truly cross regional one.

Joining in position 5 support is none other than former T1 member Matthew “Whitemon” Filemon, who will be playing for the first time in his career outside the Southeast Asia region. The soft support role will be taken by an up and coming British player who made the commitment to a professional career in Dota 2 just last year.

Matthew “Ari” Walker is a former Heroes of the Storm professional player who switched to Dota 2 in 2019 after HOTS competitive scene got closed. He first calibrated at 9K MMR and by 2022 he reached the 11K MMR milestone. This year, Ari got to make his DPC debut at Into The Breach in Tour 3 of the Western Europe Division 2. Along with Nigma, Into the Breach has promoted Division 1, but the team will have to find another position 4 support player as Ari will be moving to the US to compete in the North America Division 1 Regional League under the TSM banner.
