Ultra Promising RPG Unicorn Overlord Gets Eight Minutes of Gorgeous PS5 Gameplay

Following a fresh information blowout last week, we were left wondering when we’d see Unicorn Overlord in action. Vanillaware’s upcoming strategy RPG has already shown huge promise, but it’s always best to wait on actual gameplay footage before getting carried away with the hype.

Fortunately, Japanese publication Famitsu has released nearly eight minutes of gameplay — and yes, Unicorn Overlord really does look that good. The video covers all of the title’s key components, showing off map exploration, dialogue scenes, army management, combat, and food illustrations that’ll make your mouth water (in typical Vanillaware fashion).

Again, the potential is clear to see, and the good news is that we won’t have to wait too long for the game’s arrival. Unicorn Overlord is still set to release worldwide for PS5 and PS4 on the 8th March.
