VALORANT players have been hoping to get a new agent with the next Act. Luckily, it would seem like one should be on the way soon. Thanks to leaks from a known leaker, VALORANT should be adding a new agent named Gekko here soon. Here is the latest on the leaks and what is known about the agent.

Before diving into this, there were rumors of a new agent codenamed SmokeDancer. While nothing has been confirmed, the name Gekko and what has been leaked so far would make it seem as though this could be the same agent. This has happened with agents before.

The leaker, ValorLeaks on Twitter, has had a series of Tweets discussing this new agent.

This agent will apparently be shown-off during the LOCK//IN Grand Finals.

Then this came out through VALORANT basically confirming that Gekko would be the next agent.

It would seem as though they will be coming from a Latino-based country or at least that is what the picture have made it seem like. If not then maybe it is just food from Reyna. It also looks as though they are coming in as a new recruit to the VALORANT team, not as someone who was away on a mission or a part of another group.

Fans will certainly be wanting to see what Gekko’s abilities are. Will it be the SmokeDancer? Or will it be something else entirely? Gekko could be a fun and interesting new agent getting added to the list as VALORANT is good about creating new characters for Riot Games’ newest universe.
