Less than 24 hours before the IEM Rio Major is set to start, the tournament organizer behind the event unveiled the setup in the multipurpose arena where the first two stages will take place.
The photo shows four team setups, of which two will be used for an active match, and two will be used for the setup of the following match in order to minimize the delay between games. Alongside that, a part of the seating area is visible, with the expected capacity being about 4000 visitors.
As there will be two games played simultaneously for the initial parts of both the Challengers and Legends Stages, some of the games will not be played in front of a crowd, instead taking place backstage. The backstage matches will still be vieweable to the crowd in the venue on the secondary monitors on the sides of the stage.
