Set in an ancient, abandoned role-playing world that hasn’t seen a player in decades, Momiji Studios’ Video Game Fables is now available on Steam.
Featured at Steam Next Fest, Video Game Fables is a lighthearted role-playing game that has its script turned upside-down by someone calling herself “The Forsaken Princess.” Not one to take things lying down, Aru (the world’s princess), Nate (an NPC with his sights on becoming a hero), and Tator (the villain’s son) set out to bring some normalcy to the land.
While Video Game Fables has a challenging, fast-paced turn-based battle system, there are a number of unique twists to the formula. For instance, a timer can grant players a bonus if one quickly makes decisions. For those that tire of battle, mining, fishing, and even simple gardening are also available.
