Warzone 2.0 Circles Explained

The highly anticipated follow-up to Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty Warzone 2.0, was officially revealed during the Call of Duty: Next event Thursday. This announcement also includes unique variations on the Warzone experience, such as a revamped method of the looming circle collapse.

Building on the solid foundation created by its predecessor, Warzone 2.0 looks to drop players into a brand new battle royale experience filled with new features and a brand new expansive map to fight in. Warzone 2.0 will boast a wide selection of unique vehicles, unique methods of combat, and a revamped Gulag experience for players both old and new to enjoy. Fans of the game will also be introduced to new weapon customization options and an updated buy station with The Shop and Gunsmith 2.0.

Alongside the bevy of new additions to the Battle Royale experience, Warzone 2.0 has introduced its own fresh take on the deadly storm circle. Combatants will have to navigate multiple separate safe zones instead of the one prominent circle featured in its predecessor. As the match progresses, these circles will slowly converge and create a single safe zone. This unique spin on the circle collapse will create new battle scenarios for players as they struggle to defeat their opponents.

This brand new free-to-play Warzone experience will be globally available on Nov. 16 as part of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Season One.
