Michael Jordan was recently announced as a cover athlete for NBA 2K23. He has graced the cover of NBA 2K three times before, with one of the most popular games being NBA 2K11.

In NBA 2K11, 2K Sports released the Jordan Challenges, which were very popular among players. It’s been revealed that the game mode is returning to NBA 2K23, but what exactly are the Jordan Challenges?

In the past, Jordan Challenges allowed players to relive iconic games in Michael Jordan’s career, and play as MJ to complete objectives in each game. The Jordan Challenges included iconic Finals games, the Flu Game, and even MJ’s battles against the Pistons. For players who weren’t able to witness these games live, they can recreate these moments in Jordan’s career.

It’s been revealed that there will be 15 available games to play in the NBA 2K23 Jordan Challenges. The list of challenges has yet to be revealed, but it will likely bring some of the same games from 2K11’s Jordan Challenges in the stunning new 2K engine and graphics.
