The next ‘Ranked Split’ in Apex Legends will be taking place later today across all platforms, with World’s Edge expected to be the next map for the latter half of Season 13.
With Apex Legends now well over a month into Season 13: Saviors, the Ranked Split will completely reset players’ tiers. If you’re a casual Apex player, there’s no need to worry, as today’s mid-season split only affects the competitive ranked mode.
What Is The Apex Legends Ranked Split?
All the way back in Season 4 of Apex Legends, the split was introduced to the Ranked Leagues competitive mode. The split now takes place halfway through each season and demotes players’ ranks within Ranked Leagues.
The current map used in the ranked mode will also be rotated out and a new map will take its place for the remainder of the season.
Your hard work in the first part of the split wasn’t for nothing though, as players receive exclusive rewards depending on the rank they reach during the first half of the season. Unlike previous seasons, the upcoming ranked split will only demote players by 4 divisions instead of the usual 6. - Bronze (Base Rank)
- Silver (1,200 RP)
- Gold (2,800 RP)
- Platinum (4,800 RP)
- Diamond (7,200 RP)
- Master (10,000 RP)
- Apex Predator (Top 750 Players)
What Time Is The Apex Legends Ranked Split For Season 13 Today?
The Ranked Split for Season 13 will take place on Tuesday, June 28th, 2022 at 10AM PT / 1PM ET / 6PM BST.
Players won’t be prompted to download a new patch update, as the changes are expected to automatically go live at the aforementioned date and time.
