Where to find all Schema Stones in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

Although building vehicles and contraptions makes for one of the most enjoyable activities in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, making them from scratch every time can become tiring. Fortunately, the Autobuild ability rectifies this issue by letting you save contraptions you have built so you can materialize them instantly later. Even better, Tears of the Kingdom features collectible items, namely the Schema Stones and Yiga Schematics, that provide preset designs for you to build right away in case you struggle with thinking up creative designs yourself. Both of these items have different methods for finding them, but this guide will specifically go over the Schema Stones.

Tips for finding Schema Stones

In all, Tears of the Kingdom’s world contains 12 Schema Stones to collect, about a third of the total number of Yiga Schematics. Every Schema Stone is located in one of the Abandoned Mine areas found across the Depths. In each of these mines, one of the Steward Constructs will hand you a Schema Stone after you speak with it. Before searching for these locations, note that unlike with the Yiga Schematics, you cannot obtain the Schema Stones until you have acquired the Autobuild ability. If you attempt to speak to the Steward Constructs who would normally give the Stones to you before then, they will tell you to find the Great Abandoned Central Mine where you unlock Autobuild. Additionally, note that you will get your first Schema Stone automatically after unlocking Autobuild and defeating Master Kohga. You will have to locate the remaining 11 Stones on your own if you want them.

With these Schema Stones, you can make the building process in Tears of the Kingdom much less time-consuming going forward. And as long as you have a lot of Zonaite in your inventory, you don’t even have to find the parts for the Stones’ preset designs before building them.
