Where to Find Grapes in Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley is a country-life RPG that lets you build a farm that your player inherited, whether in a simple or flamboyant manner, just as you desire.

Accompanied by enthralling music, beautiful pixel art, interesting characters, and other traits that make the game peaceful and relaxing to play.

Stardew Valley impresses the player with many features that give them an enjoyable experience.

Although the game was released in 2016, it continues to prosper and develop.

It provides players with a lot of control over their RPG farm life, where they can grow their farm crops, raise cattle, forage, mine, go fishing, socialize with the locals, and even raise their own families by marrying and having children.

With this vast amount of tasks and opportunities, you may need assistance in finding resources for your farm, one of these resources are the juicy grapes.

Grapes are crops that are available in two different seasons in Stardew Valley: Fall and Summer.

You can either grow them during Fall, or you can forage them during the summertime. With each crop harvest, you can gain 1 grape.

You can either consume the grape for health and energy, or you can sell it for profit.

Grapes are forageable only during summer, you may wonder where you can find these grapes.

Grapes are actually quite easy to find and obtain.

You can find them lying on the ground at various specific locations.

These locations include the Backwoods where almost 62% of the forageable items are found; the Mountain (62%); the Railroad (27%); the Bus Stop (27%); or, the Forest Farm Map (25%).

Explore these locations a bit, and there’s a good chance you will come across the grapes you desire.

You can use these grapes in any way you like, whether it is for a recipe, to sell them, to gift them, for quests, or for tailoring.

Grapes – Learning the Basics

In Stardew Valley, the grape is a fruit that can be either foraged or grown through crops.

In Summer, you can forage and find Grapes growing in the wild which will give you 7 Foraging XP.

But you can also grow them in crops through Summer Seeds which are season-specific crafted seeds.

This method will also give you 7 Foraging XP.

On the other hand, in Fall, you can grow Grape crops through Grape starters, which will take up to 10 days to mature and can be harvested every 3-4 days.

These will give you 14 Farming XP.

Although you can harvest a lot of grapes from these crops after their maturing, it is important to keep watering these grape crops adequately (ideally watered each day) for the production to continue.

You can acquire these Grape Starters from Pierre’s General Store with a seed price of 60g, JojaMart with a seed price of 75g, or The Magic Shop Boat on Night 17 at the Night Market.

Alternatively, you can also get them from the Seed Maker, or the Travelling Cart that comes around from time to time.

For the base quality ones, you will gain 17 health points and 38 energy points per grape consumed.

You can also earn profit by selling the grape: 80g for the base price, 100g for silver, and 120g for gold.

Difference Between Foraged Grapes and Crop-grown Grapes

Since foraged grapes and crop-grown grapes are acquired differently, you may question if there is a difference in their benefits and other features.

The only significant difference is that most cultivated crops when sold gain a +10% Tiller profession benefit.

Similarly, grapes, when cultivated as a crop in the Fall also gain a +10% Tiller profession benefit when they are sold.

This is not the same case for foraged Grapes in the summer as they do not receive the Tiller bonus.

However, if you want to apply the Tiller boost to your Fall grapes too, you can blend the summer and autumn grapes in the same stack.

This will apply the Tiller boost to the entire stack.

So besides the Tiller bonus, Foraged Grapes and Crop-grown Grapes are similar and can both be utilized similarly in quests, crafting, presents, bundles, and recipes.

Conclusion

In Stardew Valley, grapes can be found and acquired through crops in Fall or by forage in Summer in several different locations as discussed.

So, we can say that it is quite easy to find these grapes.

The last piece of advice we will give you is that if you want to plant the crop, make sure to factor in the space needed for it when looking for a farm spot.
