Where to find Sealant in Starfield

Where to find Sealant in Starfield

Although Starfield is a game with a lot of big strokes, sometimes the finer brush work is where things prove most interesting. You can’t spend all your time blasting ships out of the sky or chasing down pirates. Your leisure hours are devoted to other activities, including crafting and outpost management. At such times, you’ll want to have a lot of Sealant on hand. This guide tells you where to find Sealant in Starfield.

Starfield – where to find Sealant

Sealant is available from the start of the game. Perhaps you’ve already run across some. However, it’s easy to forget where you last saw some when you find yourself needing more for your weapon crafting. Fortunately, it’s more common than is initially evident. Find Sealant for sale, scattered around some outposts, and even find Sealant components on plant life.

Starfield Sealant Purchase At Uc Distribution In New Atlantis

If you need just a bit of Sealant in a pinch, purchase it from a vendor. One vendor who carries it is Wen Tseng at the UC Distribution building, located in the Commercial District in New Atlantis. She carries a lot of it and charges 5 credits per canister. I like to visit her when I need supplies and have more credits than time.

You can also find Sealant by looking carefully around various outposts. For instance, I found some Sealant when searching a Civilian Outpost on Mars. You may find it inside buildings, usually on surfaces with food trays. You might also find it outside, among scattered parts and junk. Just check out any canisters you spot. I spend a lot of time walking around various outposts with my scanner activated to make it easier to find resources.

Cold Cave Nettle plants also produce Sealant components. You can find them commonly on Procyon III. I spent a lot of time on that frigid planet near the start of my own adventure. Sap and Stalk bits are pretty common and easy to spot through your scanner. And if you’re worried you might become encumbered if you carry too much stuff at once, check our guide with ideas about how to fix encumbered. You don’t want to let that condition prevent you from gathering resources you’ll need.

Starfield is available to purchase on Steam and the Microsoft Store.
