Who Voices Clive in Final Fantasy XVI?

Final Fantasy 16 is available for purchase, and fans are ecstatic about its release. The latest gameplay trailer showed us epic combat, formidable enemies, and the importance of attack combos, attributes, and abilities.

Aside from the actual gameplay, players are curious about the voice behind the main protagonist.

Ben Starr is the English voice actor for Clive Rosfield in Final Fantasy 16. Although Rosfield is Starr’s first appearance in the Final Fantasy franchise, the English actor has been in other games, TV series, and movies.

Starr gained most of his fame through acting in TV series and movies before Final Fantasy 16. One of his most notable performances was in Jamestown, a drama series about the first settlers of the New World. Starr played Samuel Castell’s friend and town doctor, Dr. Christopher Priestley. His other roles include Judas in 7 Miracles, Sniper in Survivor, and Captain James Hawdon in Dickensian.

Starr showed up in a handful of games before Final Fantasy 16. He has been spotted as an additional voice in A Way Out, Sharp in Arknights, and more minor roles in other titles.

You can purchase the Standard Edition of Final Fantasy 16 for $70 on the PlayStation 5. If you’re unsure whether you’d like to buy Final Fantasy 16, try out the free demo!
