You Can Now Pre-Register For Dynasty Warriors M On Google Play – Droid Gamers

Earlier this week, Droid Gamer’s Editor extraordinaire, Meriel, announced that a brand new Dynasty Warriors game built from the ground up for mobile was on its way.

Well, a mere two days later and publisher Nexon has pushed the game out on Google Play. In fact, you can pre-register for it right now to get a notification as soon as it officially drops.

What’s Dynasty Warriors M?

It’s, effectively, a gacha version of the hit Musou game that you can play on your phone. It features 50 ‘Officers’ (read: heroes) to collect, who you can send out into battle to level up.

Each hero has its own special power and signature weapon that you can unleash in battle. Those are your signature Dynasty Warriors battles against hordes of enemies.

What’s the Goal?

Your goal is to explore 13 regions, capturing castles across the 500(!) different stages. Along the way, you will recruit new heroes, gather loot, and experience legit historical battles.

These include the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the Battle of Luoyang. Don’t expect realism though, as I doubt no warrior throughout history could kill 50 soldiers with a single swipe of the sword.

When Does Dynasty Warriors M Launch?

Nexon hasn’t officially announced the Dynasty Warriors M release date yet, but there are a few clues. The App Store lists ‘December 31’, but that smacks of placeholder to me.

Over on the official forums though, Nexon is hosting a ‘pre-registration post sharing event’ that runs from October 24, when the game entered closed beta, to November 21.

So, November 21?

That suggests to me a launch date of around November 21/22. Until Nexon officially announces it though, this is just guesswork.

In the meantime, you can pre-register on Google Play via the link at the top of this page to get it as soon as it’s available. I’ll keep an eye out and let you know as soon as an official release date drops.
