allu to stand-in for Complexity on loan in IEM Winter Europe closed qualifier

Complexity are set to utilize Aleksi “allu” Jalli in their IEM Winter Europe closed qualifier campaign, with the 29-year-old joining the team on a temporary loan after they parted ways with Valentin “poizon” Vasilev on Sunday.

allu has been out of action since May, when he took a leave of absence from ENCE due to personal reasons citing the “hectic years with minimal breaks” leaving him “extremely drained and fatigued, inside and outside the server.” In July, he announced that he was ready to get back to work and began his search for a new team, with a return to ENCE looking out of the question despite him remaining contracted to the organization.

Complexity will use allu as they look to secure a spot at IEM Winter

The short-term loan will give the Finnish AWPer the opportunity to prove himself once again after a period of inactivity, while for Complexity, the temporary addition allows them to field a complete roster for the IEM Winter Europe closed qualifier, one of only two events they are currently signed up to play in for the remainder of the year alongside DreamHack Open November.

Following the qualifier, Complexity will have more time to assess their options, and will be able to draw from teams who won’t make changes until after the PGL Stockholm Major.

For the IEM Winter Europe closed qualifier, Complexity will field:

Denmark Benjamin “blameF” Bremer
Australia Justin “jks” Savage
Denmark Patrick “es3tag” Hansen
Brazil Marcelo “coldzera” David
Finland Aleksi “allu” Jalli (on loan)

Brazil Luis “peacemaker” Tadeu (coach)
