$400k main event for Gamers8, qualifier invites announced

Gamers8 has announced the prize money distribution for its three StarCraft related events, and has also revealed the 24 players invited to its StarCraft II main event qualifier.

  • StarCraft II main event: $400,000
  • StarCraft II “legends” exhibition: $50,000
  • StarCraft: Remastered “legends” exhibition: $50,000

The StarCraft II main event qualifiers will be held during April 14-23. The StarCraft portion of the Gamers8 festival will be held during August 3-6.

The invited players for the main event qualifiers (Gamers Without Borders) are as follows:

  • EPT Players:
    • : Astrea, ShoWTimE
    • : Clem, HeroMarine, SpeCial, Oliveira, Spirit
    • : Reynor, Serral, Lambo, Elazer, Cham

  • Korea Players:
    • : herO, Creator, Classic
    • : Maru, Bunny, ByuN, GuMiho, Cure
    • : Dark, DRG, RagnaroK, Solar
