A Lifeline Prestige Skin is Coming to Apex Legends

According to new leaks, a Lifeline Prestige skin is coming to Apex Legends in 2024.

Prestige skins are one of the rarest cosmetics in all of Apex Legends. Only seven Legends have received one since the game’s release back in 2019; most recently, Apex Lycanthrope, Loba’s Prestige skin, headlined the Uprising Collection Event. Each Prestige skin has three unlockable tiers that transform its Legend into something otherworldly.

After the Uprising Collection Event concluded, fans began wondering which Legend would be the next lucky character to receive the Mythic skin. Fortunately, a few leaked game files just answered the question.

It looks like Lifeline is getting the next Prestige skin in Apex Legends. Reliable Apex Legends leaker, HYPERMYST, revealed, “Lifeline ‘Mythic’ skin codes added to the files.”

Despite some fans pulling for an Octane Prestige skin first, the beloved Combat Medic is still a great choice. Lifeline has become one of the most popular Legends to play in Season 19, earning herself a spot in the top ten pick rates throughout the season. She currently ranks eighth according to ApexLegendsStatus, which is fitting since she will likely receive the game’s eighth Prestige skin.

Although the leak does not provide an image of the skin just yet, there will surely be photos in the future of the skin’s design. Stay tuned for more details as Season 19 concludes.

As of now, the Lifeline Prestige skin release date is unknown. In theory, it could come as early as Season 20, beginning on Feb. 13, or it could be delayed for months.

Once it does release, though, the Mythic cosmetic will likely be the last reward offered in an upcoming Collection Event. Typically to unlock a Prestige skin in Apex Legends, players must first unlock all other limited-time cosmetics offered in the event before automatically receiving the rare skin.
