A Plague Tale is getting adapted for a TV series

A Plague Tale is one of the next game series to be adapted for television, it has been confirmed. The announcement came from director Mathieu Turi, who confirmed he would taking the reigns of this adaptation. Mathieu Turi has previously directed Hostile and Meander, as well as having worked on titles like Inglorious Bastards, Gossip Girl. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, and The Take. You can see his announcement below.

A Plague Tale: Innocence was released in 2019 with very good reception. In our review, Tuffcub wrote: “A Plague Tale: Innocence proves that feisty young women are the new heroes of single player narrative adventures, and Amicia can proudly stand alongside Aloy and Senua. Asobo Studios have knocked it out of the park with a compelling story, superb graphics, and excellent music. Loved it.”

In June, a sequel was announced and that is called A Plague Tale: Requiem. Rumours that Asobo Studio was working on a sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence surfaced back in 2019 on Xbox Squad who were told of the sequel by someone at Focus Home Interactive.  At the time the source said there was ‘going to be a bit of a wait with an announcement’ and that turned out to be true.  The game has only be announced for Xbox and PC and will be on Xbox Game Pass from day one and the game is also coming to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch via the cloud.
