Call Of Duty: Vanguard Update Adjusts Spawns And Fixes Broken FOV Slider

Call of Duty: Vanguard‘s November 11 update addresses spawn issues and several bugged challenges, which are mentioned in the patch notes provided in the in-game menus. Additionally, Sledgehammer Games has provided some of the update highlights on Twitter.

This new update adjusts some spawns for the multiplayer maps Numa Numa and Desert Siege, but also works to address a few of Vanguard’s bugged challenges. Many players have voiced frustration about in-game challenges that won’t properly track, and while many weapon camo challenges still seem to be bugged, the November 11 patch notes confirm the developer has implemented a fix for the reticle challenges that were not tracking past the first challenge tier. The update also corrects the Field of View setting bug, which locked some players’ Field of View slider and prevented them from adjusting their view.

The Zombies changes mentioned in the patch notes include a fix for an exploit that allowed players to get out of the map, and a bug that left players with a standard pistol when downed instead of their Pack-a-Punched pistol.

Vanguard’s new hot fix comes just a day after a previous update made changes to the game’s Combat Shield melee weapon, along with other adjustments such as performance improvements, various bug fixes, and more.

Also, Sledgehammer Games now has a community Trello board, where players can see what problems the developer is tracking and investigating. Call of Duty: Vanguard had a mostly smooth launch, and bugged in-game challenges seemed to be a bulk of the issues the developer is still working to fix.

In other Call of Duty news, leakers claim that fictional World War II heroes might be joining Vanguard, as datamining suggests Captain America and Indiana Jones will be coming in a future update.

All of this Call of Duty content continues as Activision Blizzard faces lawsuits and other investigations related to sexual harassment and discrimination against women.
