Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty’s Stunning CG Trailer Sets the Stage

CD Projekt Red now has a history of delivering great CG trailers, and this latest one for upcoming expansion Phantom Liberty is right up there with some of the best. It actually gives us a bit of background on Solomon Reed — played by English actor Idris Elba — who’s a key character in the DLC. A government agent who’s finally about to get out of Night City, he’s betrayed at the last minute by a woman named So Mi and seemingly killed.

Seven years later, the NUSA president’s shuttle is shot down with So Mi on board, and that’s what kicks off the events of Phantom Liberty in Cyberpunk 2077.
