Diablo 4: Best Sorcerer Build

Diablo 4: Best Sorcerer Build

The Sorcerer class is a very interesting role to use, as our friends over at Attack of the Fanboy stated, the character is great but a glass cannon. So you may have a really hard time playing Diablo 4. I’ve found no matter what build you create for this role, it’s best to be behind the party and offer that supplemental power. While the Sorcerer can be beaten somewhat easily, what they can do makes them a real threat to Lilth’s minions when built right. If you want a guide to creating the best Sorcerer build in Diablo 4, read this guide.

The best Sorcerer build in Diablo 4

This build is the opposite of the Fire Sorcerer Build, in that it uses ice damage rather than fire. It has somewhat of the same meta but is quicker on the attack. However, as mentioned before, you should still use this build and class behind your team. Diablo 4 has a Hardcore and Softcore mode, it seems no matter which difficulty you pick, there will be a challenge, so be prepared to be pushed to the limit for this class.

  • Flickering Frost Bolt – You throw an ice bolt dealing thirty-five percent damage and chills them for fifteen percent. Flickering makes frozen enemies vulnerable for 3 seconds. This becomes useful against bosses.
  • Flickering Arc Lash – Send out an arch of lighting that swipes in front of you several times. It deals forty-two percent damage to enemies in front and stuns them for 2 seconds for every ten swipes. You gain 6 percent movement speed for about 5 seconds when you use Arc Lash.
  • Destructive Frozen Orb – Creates an orb that chills enemies around thirty percent, and when the orb is used up it explodes. This causes twenty-nine percent damage and chills enemies for at least 8 percent. The upgrade does all the base damage, but for every enemy frozen, you generate 5 mana.
  • Devastation – Having an ability that increases your mana is essential for the Sorcerer. When equipped, Devastation increases mana by about 3 percent.
  • Enhanced Frost Nova – You create an ice storm kind of attack that freezes enemies around you for about 3 seconds. With the enhanced tier, the cooldown reduces by 1 second and stacks for 4 seconds. This is important because the cooldown at the base level is twenty seconds.
  • Invoked Ice Blades – At the base level your blades of ice damage enemies for twenty-two percent for 6 seconds. On top of that, there’s a thirty percent chance you’ll leave the enemy vulnerable for about 2 seconds. Invoked Ice Blades adds ten percent more attack speed when using this ability.
