Dota 2 Dazzle Guide – A Splendid Support Hero to Heal Allies

There are plenty of ways to heal your allies and make your enemies flee battles in Dota 2 matches with the splendid support hero, Dazzle. 

The Dead Reckoning is bringing a number of esports teams together to fight for Muerta’s flowers. These flowers can be collected till April 4, 2023, by getting kills and assists against specific enemy heroes in your games. Players can earn 2 points for a kill and 1 point for an assist in the Dead Reckoning mini-game to impress their friends in Dota 2. You can claim the Dead Reckoning Chest by collecting flowers from your matches to unlock fashionable skins for your favorite heroes. 

Support heroes can receive several points for their assists during Dota 2 matches. You can play heroes like Warlock and Dazzle to heal your allies in battles to prevent your teammates from dying in combat. Dazzle – Level Up Shadow Wave Early to Help Allies

Dazzle is a support hero who can head to the off lane to help his team earn more gold. You can level up his ability, Shadow Wave, to replenish up to 135 health to 7 allied units with Dazzle in lanes. Any enemy units that are around the targeted allied units are dealt 135 damage after Shadow Wave is cast. 

Shadow Wave has a cooldown of 9 seconds and needs 90 mana to be used in the game. Many support heroes max out Shadow Wave early in their matches to restore health to their allies from the start of a match. Players can nuke enemy units and heal allied creeps in lanes using Shadow Wave to gain control of their lane. You can also pull creeps from neutral creep camps and cast Shadow Wave to earn bonus gold with Dazzle. 

Dazzle – Pair Up with Melee Heroes

The support team can be most effective while farming in lanes with a melee hero. Dazzle has a range of 575 on his physical attacks. People can let melee heroes take last hits in the off lane and cast Shadow Wave to heal their allies in battles. Shadow Wave can be especially useful while destroying enemy towers with your allies. 

Dazzle can help melee heroes like Beastmaster and Faceless Void to farm plenty of gold without having to teleport to their base. He has a projectile speed of 1200 that allows Dazzle to cast his spells right before enemy heroes can land their last hit. 

You can place a few Observer Wards around the map with Dazzle. The Observer Wards can give your team vision of enemy heroes, preventing your opponents from striking your allies undetected. Melee heroes can also farm more gold from neutral creep camps revealed by the Observer Wards and return to Dazzle to have their health restored in a lane. 

Dazzle – Aether Lens can be A Handy Item

Dazzle has a base mana pool of 375. He gains a massive 3.7 Intelligence per level in Dota 2 games. You can purchase an Aether Lens to increase his mana regeneration rate by 2.5 and the total mana pool of Dazzle by 300. Aether Lens costs 2275 gold. The item extends the cast range of all of Dazzle’s spells and items by 225. The extended range of Shadow Wave lets Dazzle heal allies from a safe distance during team fights. 

A Pipe of Insight can be bought for 3475 gold in the game. Dazzle gains 30% magic resistance and 8.5 health regeneration rate by purchasing a Pipe of Insight. Allied units in a radius of 1200 around Dazzle gain up to 2.5 health regeneration rate and 15% magic resistance with Insight Aura that is granted by the item. Dazzle can use Pipe of Insight to cast a barrier on his allies that absorbs up to 450 magical damage for up to 12 seconds. Pipe of Insight has a cooldown of 60 seconds and requires 100 mana to be used per cast. 

Dazzle – Team Fights are Your Moments to Shine

You can derail your enemies by nuking enemy heroes with Dazzle to help your allies get easy kills. Dazzle can cast Poison Touch to deal up to 52 damage per second (DPS) for 8 seconds. Enemy units affected by Poison Touch have their movement speed slowed by 22% for the duration of the spell. The movement speed slow applied on enemies using Poison Touch can be increased with each hit from Dazzle. Poison Touch has a cooldown of 15 seconds and consumes 140 mana to be used in the game. 

Players can purchase an Aghanim’s Shard for Dazzle to hex enemy heroes using Poison Touch. Allies can attack enemy heroes disabled by the upgraded Poison Touch to annihilate their opponents before the enemy team can strike back. 

His ulti, Good Juju, is a passive ability that decreases the cooldown of the abilities of his allies by 2 seconds for every spell Dazzle casts during team fights. You can use the active ability Bad Juju to heal allies with Dazzle for more health with each spell he casts. Bad Juju has a cooldown of 15 seconds and needs 100 mana. 

You can upgrade Dazzle’s ulti by purchasing an Aghanim’s Scepter. The upgraded ulti of Dazzle can be used to reset the cooldown of all the items of his allies. You can buy an Aghanim’s Scepter for 4200 gold in Dota 2. 

Dazzle – The Talent Tree can Strengthen Your Support Skills

Dazzle can unlock quite a few upgrades for his abilities through the Talent Tree. The support hero gains an additional 1.75 mana regeneration rate at level 10. Players can heal their teammates for up to 45 bonus health by reaching level 15. 

You can cast Poison Touch on enemy heroes to deal an additional 45 damage at level 20 through the Talent Tree. Enemy units affected by Poison Touch will have their movement speed slowed by an additional 40% through the Talent Tree at level 25. 

Dazzle – Use Shallow Grave on Carry Heroes

The support hero can cast Shallow Grave to help his allies survive longer in battles. Allies can tank damage from all incoming sources for up to 5 seconds without dying while Shallow Grave is active. The amount of health restored to allies is also increased for the duration of Shallow Grave, letting Dazzle replenish more health with multiple instances of Shadow Wave during team fights. 

Carry heroes need to be protected before other allies in the team while playing Dazzle. The few seconds of protection provided by Shallow Grave can allow carry heroes like Lifestealer and Slark regain a large portion of their health. Players can purchase a Force Staff to push allies away from enemy heroes while Shallow Grave is active. Shallow Grave can also be used to restore 200 health at the end of the spell by reaching level 20 with Dazzle. 

Best Allies for Dazzle – Templar Assassin

Templar Assassin is a mighty carry hero in Dota 2. She can use Refraction to avoid taking damage from enemy attacks for up to 6 hits. The ranged hero also gains up to 85 bonus damage while Refraction is active. Refraction has a cooldown of 17 seconds. Dazzle can use Shadow Wave on Templar Assassin to restore health to his ally while fighting enemy heroes in lanes. 

Allies playing Templar Assassin can turn invisible at will using Meld while attacking enemies in the game. Players can use Meld after Dazzle casts Shallow Grave on them to avoid getting killed. You can buy a Blink Dagger for Templar Assassin to teleport the carry hero to safety. 

People can place Psionic Traps across the map with Templar Assassin to reduce the movement speed of enemy heroes for 5 seconds. Dazzle can use Poison Touch to severely restrain the movement of his opponents after they’ve been affected by Psionic Traps. Templar Assassin can also silence enemies with her ulti by purchasing an Aghanim’s Scepter for the Agility hero in their matches. 

Best Allies for Dazzle – Tusk

Tusk is a support hero with various spells that can be used to disposition enemy heroes. He can create walls of ice around enemy heroes that can prevent their escape during battles against Tusk. Any enemy unit that comes into contact with Ice Shards can take up to 300 damage. Ice Shards has a cast range of 1400, making it easier for Tusk and his allies to attack enemy heroes from a distance during team fights. 

Dazzle can use Poison Touch while enemy heroes are within the Ice Shards to weaken them. Poison Touch can be used by Dazzle to target multiple enemy heroes, providing plenty of assists during Dota 2 matches. Tusk can use Snowball to stun enemy heroes, giving Dazzle adequate time to heal his allies.
