Southampton vs. Man Utd

Spanning this season and the last, each of Southampton’s last eight games went over 2.5 goals, three of their last four games went over 3.5 goals and two of their last four games went over 4.5 goals. Eight out of Man Utd’s last ten games went over 2.5 goals.

Man City drew Everton last week, which is bad news for Crystal Palace. Over the last twelve months Man City have gone 8-0-0 on the back of a draw or defeat and seven of those eight wins were to nil. Palace took four points off City last season, but neither of those meetings were on the back of a City draw or loss. Crystal Palace have been held scoreless in three of their last four games against Man City. Over the last twelve months five of Palace’s seven away defeats were to nil. Since their promotion in 2013, all six of Palace’s away defeats to City were to nil.

Chelsea vs. Leicester City

Chelsea have an unbeaten 4-2-0 record on the back of a defeat over the last twelve months, but this is primarily a bet against Leicester City. The Foxes have gone 0-5-9 as the away underdog over the last twelve months and they have made a poor start to this season following a quiet transfer window. Leicester are 0-1-2 so far this campaign with all three of their opponents scoring 2+ goals.

Brentford vs. Everton

This is primarily a bet against Everton, who have gone 2-3-14 away from home over the last twelve months. Brentford have gone 6-0-4 as the favourite over the same period. Brentford completed the double over Everton last season.

Arsenal vs. Fulham

Arsenal have gone 14-2-1 as the home favourite over the last twelve months. Spanning this season and the last, the Gunners bring a four-game winning streak at home into this clash. Arsenal also bring a four-game winning streak ( home & away) into this game, with all four wins coming by 2+ goal margins. Arsenal have won six of their last seven fixtures against Fulham. Going all the way back to their first meeting in 1904, Fulham have never beaten Arsenal away from home.
