Entropiq bring in mir

After more than six months on the sidelines, Nikolay “mir” Bityukov finds a new home at Entropiq.

Entropiq have announced that they have brought mir out of inactivity, following the expiry of his contract with Spirit. The 26-year-old replaces Viktor “Lack1” Boldyrev in the main roster in the first change the team has undergone since its inception in early 2021.

mir might’ve been out of action for half a year following Spirit‘s overhaul in October of 2021, but his form was incredible during the stint with the Russian team, averaging a 1.20 rating across 517 maps played.

mir is back in action

Entropiq‘s coach Dmitry “hooch” Bogdanov is convinced that mir is exactly what his team needs to break past the plateau they reached. Aside from a couple of weeks when they peaked at No. 9 in the world, Entropiq has been stuck in the top 20 area, with a big achievement still lacking.

“I am very happy that we managed to get mir on our team. Nikolay is a world-class player with an incredible history, and I am convinced that together we will achieve further success,” is what hooch said about the signing.

“Nikolay is undoubtedly a great CS:GO player who we have been following for a long time,” Entropiq’s gaming director Pavel Klaban added. “We believe that he is exactly the type of player that will give our team the necessary additional firepower and that mir will be the difference maker that will help us take that one step towards titles in many tournaments.”

mir will have his debut for the “black and green” in REPUBLEAGUE Season 3 shortly, as his team takes on K23 at 19:00 .

Entropiq now field the following roster:

Russia Aleksei “NickelBack” Trofimov
Russia Vladislav “Krad” Kravchenko
Russia Aleksei “El1an” Gusev
Russia Igor “Forester” Bezotecheskiy
Russia Nikolay “mir” Bityukov

Russia Dmitry “hooch” Bogdanov (coach)
