FIFA TOTW 7: Arsenal ‘Flop’ to earn a spot on the team?

It’s that time of the week again to see who could be an early contender for the FIFA 22 TOTW in Ultimate Team mode.

There have been far fewer standout performances this week but we still can pull three players together who are deserving of a place in the squad.

Let’s take a look at these weeks shining stars!

Aaron Ramsdale

When you grab yourself a clean sheet as a goalie, you know you’ve had a good game. When you’re on the receiving end of praise from the likes of Peter Schmeichel thanks to a save he considers the best he’s seen in years. That’s when you know you’ve had a great game!

Ramsdale was resilient in the Arsenal goal and help spearhead a 2-0 victory over Leicester. His wonder save from a James Maddison free-kick sparker comparisons to the sill and unreal agility of FIFA 22’s goalies before the first major patch!

Vinicius Jr

Real Madrid (and most of La Liga) are in dire straits right now as the league’s quality has undoubtedly dropped recently. Regardless, Vinicius Jr put in a brilliant shift for Los Blancos to lead them to a close 2-1 victory over Elche.

He scored both of Madrid’s goals and was looking likely to bag a third had he not been replaced by Eden Hazard late in the match. Say what you will about La Liga in FIFA 22 but Vinicius Jr is a bright spark for the Galacticos and will be for years to come.

Fashion Sakala

Rangers have not matched their high levels of performance from last season but still sit atop the Scottish Premiership thanks to a 6-1 thumping of Motherwell. During the game, which saw Rangers 1-0 down early, Fashion Sakala turned on the style and bagged himself a brilliant hat trick.

He easily could have had more goals but the Rangers were intent to share the glory in the later stages of the match. He could see his FIFA rating given a mighty boost after this weekends performance.
