Former FNATIC Valorant Player Announces Free Agency

Former FNATIC Valorant player has entered free agency

With the off-season starting for the Tier-2 Valorant scene, we have begun seeing massive roster overhauls across teams in various regions, all gearing up for the upcoming VCT season. The latest development is Braveaf, former initiator player of the FNATIC Valorant roster, parting ways with İstanbul Wildcats after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract.

Braveaf’s Time with FNATIC Valorant

Braveaf is most notable for his tenure with the FNATIC Valorant roster at the beginning of the 2022 Valorant Champions Tour. While Boaster’s team didn’t hold the title of the absolute best in the world at that time, they still ranked among the top-tier squads from the EMEA region.

However, the Russian player’s stint with the team turned out to be brief. He participated in just one significant event, the 2022 Stage 1 EMEA Challengers, where despite helping the team to qualify for the Reykjavic Masters, the 28-year-old found himself suspended for his controversial comments on the Russia-Ukraine situation.

Braveaf Joins İstanbul Wildcats’ VCT Roster

After departing from FNATIC, Braveaf made a move to the Turkish-based team in late 2022. However, they had lackluster performances throughout the season. Braveaf and Co failed to qualify for the Ascension League after struggling in both the Splits.

Now as Braveaf and İstanbul Wildcats part ways, the future for both parties remains to be seen. It is evident that the Turkish org is preparing for a complete roster revamp for the 2024 season as they released the entirety of their roster except Artur “7ssk7” Kyurshin.
