A new chapter means new places to hot drop. In this chapter, gamers will be able to see cyberpunk-themed cities but also Japanese-inspired landmarks. Here are all of the new Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 POI.

New locations
- Mega City – The newest central area comparable to the infamous Tilted Towers. Grind Rails to traverse the city are available for use.
- Steamy Springs – A combination between Steam Stacks and Salty Springs.
- Kenjutsu Crossing – Japanese-inspired temple with cherry blossoms
New Augments
Additionally, 7 new Augments were added with this new update:
- Dumpster Diving: Loot will spawn nearby when you leave a hiding place. Can occur once per hiding place.
- Treasure Hunter: Nearby chests are marked the first time you enter a POI.
- Slap Surplus: Find Slap Juice in every Chest you open. If the Chest already had a Slap Juice, it’ll have an extra one.
- Munitions Slide: Gain medium ammo while sliding.
- Medium Ammo Amp: Any weapon using medium ammo will have an increased magazine size.
- Shotgun Recycle: Weapons using Shotgun ammo have a chance not to consume ammo.
- Dignified Finish: Eliminations refresh a cooldown for the Kinetic Blade’s Dash Attack.
Fresh and Brand New
Augments weren’t the only thing receiving new editions in this chapter. This season will have in total 4 new weapons to be added to the loot pool:
Kinetic Katana – The newest melee weapon added to Fortnite. The Kinetic Katana allows players to dash around while attacking enemies and provides knockback damage. It could be utilized while traversing the map or in close combat situations.
Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle -A fully automatic silenced rifle.
Havoc Pump Shotgun – A behemoth of a weapon that should be utilized for aggressive gameplay. The Mythic Havoc Pump Shotgun can potentially one-shot players dealing 250 max damage.
Overcloclocked Pulse Rifle – A fully automatic weapon when hip-fired but shoots slower when sights are aimed down.
