Gary Harris re-signs with Orlando; Kyle Anderson moves to Minnesota

The 2022 NBA Free Agency frenzy continues, as two more players have signed with their new (or old) teams. Gary Harris is re-signing with the Orlando Magic on a reported two-year, $26 million deal. Kyle Anderson, however, is switching teams. The former Grizzly is now a Timberwolf, signing for $18 million over two years.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the Kyle Anderson news on Thursday via Twitter.

Harris was a first round draft selection by the Chicago Bulls in the 2014 NBA Draft, although he never played a game for the franchise. In 2021, his second year with the Magic, he scored 11.1 points per game, starting in just 30 of the 61 games in which he played.

Anderson was also a first round draft pick, but was picked by the Spurs. He played in both San Antonio and Memphis for four years each before inking this new deal with Minnesota, whom his old team bounced from the playoffs in 2022. He scored six points per game during that playoff run.
