Genshin Impact Specters Location Guide

Genshin Impact’s latest quest requires players to find specters, and many are wondering what actually are they and where can they be found.

As part one of the quests, players need to collect 4 portions of Core Propulsion by defeating 2 Specters. Unfortunately, the quest doesn’t provide any details about Specters, so if you are looking for information about that you can find it below.

What are Specters in Genshin Impact?

Specters are nothing but one of the many monsters players will encounter in Genshin Impact. These enemies can be found floating in the air in Teyvat as well as Enkanomiya. Do note that Specters are not found in the Chasm region of the game. There are six types of Specters in the game, namely, Anemo Specter, Cryo Specter, Electro Specter, Geo Specter, Hydro Specter, and Pyro Specter.

If you want to defeat Specters, you need to have a proper strategy in place. Each of the six Specters is completely immune to its own element. So while taking on Specters, it is important to know what element they are based on, otherwise, you might have a difficult time taking them down. Considering the fact that Specters are one of those enemies which float around, it is important to note that using a melee character will make it even more difficult to take them down.

The other thing players should note is that Specters have a Rage meter which builds up each time they are hit. Once it’s filled, they become significantly powerful and deal more damage. Moreover, Specters also explode after getting hit, so you should try to avoid that, especially when the rage meter is completely filled.
