God Of War Ragnarök Gets A Pop-Up Exhibition In Malaysia Showcasing Art, Merch And Game

God Of War Ragnarök, the follow-up to the action-adventure blockbuster God Of War (2018) is out now. To celebrate the occasion, PlayStation Asia has organised a pop-up exhibit for PlayStation fans in Malaysia, particularly those in Kuala Lumpur.

The pop-up exhibit can be found at APW Bangsar, KL, and is available until November 13.

The exhibition showcases a variety of art collaborations- including a Wayang Kulit (traditional Malaysia shadow puppets) of Kratos And Atreus, designed by Tintoy Chuo, founder and primary concept creator for Fusion Wayang Kulit.

Fun fact: The design of the father-and-son Wayang Kulit is inspired by Hanuman and Sri Rama- both being famous shadow puppets and also, appropriately enough, gods. And as per tradition in Wayang Kulit, the characters are standing on a creature. And for Kratos and Atreus, that means standing on a Bear and a Wolf respectively, to match the game’s theme.

There’s also a mural depicting the Kratos and Atreus shadow puppet design.

Alongside that showpiece, the exhibition displays various other art displays including the Family Series, the full scale of the Leviathan Axe and Mjolnir, and the limited-time merch by CASETiFY, #FR2 and New Era.

The exhibition is open to the public where you can experience the art gallery, take pictures with plenty of photo opportunities, giveaways and even a chance to give the actual game a go on a PS5 (available for players age 18+).

Also, fans can come and get a free coffee if they do the Spartan Rage scream (first come first serve, limited to 40 coffees a day).

The God Of War Ragnarok pop-up exhibition in Malaysia will run until November 13, with the place open from 10 AM to 10 PM. The mural will be displayed until December 7.

God Of War Ragnarok is out now on PS4 and PS5. You can find our review of the game here.
