Gotham Knights Co-op May Have Been Bumped up to Support 4 Players

Many are going to want to play Gotham Knights as a purely single player game, but by that same token, there will be many players who’ll want to go through it with another player by their side. When the open world action RPG was first announced, developer WB Games Montreal confirmed that it would support 2-player co-op only. Given the fact that there are four playable characters in the game, that was met with some confusion and criticism.

It seems, however, that the additional year that the game has spent in development has given its developer the time to make some improvements. As per Gotham Knights’ PlayStation Store page, it’s going to support 4-player co-op. Of course, officially, that’s yet to be confirmed, and it’s worth mentioning that this might be referring to a separate mode that allows four players, rather than the entire campaign being playable in 4-player co-op.

Hopefully, we’ll know more one way or another soon enough. The game is due out this year, and new information on it will likely be shared soon, especially with Summer Game Fest coming up in a month’s time.

Gotham Knights is due out on October 25 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
