Gran Turismo World Series Showdown 2022 is the first in-person esports event for a Gran Turismo game since 2020, and here you can find all the details about it, inlcuding start time and particpating drivers and teams.

This weekend in Salzburg, Austria, Gran Turismo 7 pro players will compete agains each other in two different competitions: Manufacterer’s Cup and Nations Cup.

Both competitions are improtant for drivers, but the former is a team-based tournament, while the latter sees individual drivers fighting for a qualifications chance to the next rounds of the tournament.

Manfacturer’s Cup will kick off on July 30 at 12 pm PT/3 pm ET/7 pm UTC/9 pm CEST. During this competition, 12 manufacturer teams, each with 3 drivers, will compete against each other to bring the championship to their brand.

Next, you can watch the Nations Cup on July 31 at the same time as above, which is competition between individuals who hope to get qualified for Round 2 and 3 of GT World Series. According to the official Gran Turismo website, 16 finalists from the 2021 World Finals Nations Cup as well as the 16 best-ranked players from the top league in each region of the Online Series 1 form up the Nations Cup participants in 2022.

Grand Turismo World Series Showdown 2022 is a LAN tournament set at Redbull’s Hangar-7 arena in Salzburg, Austria.
