After five days packed full of action during the first two stages of the event, IEM Cologne 2022 is finally returning with the playoffs on July 15 to bring the $1,000,000 LAN to a conclusion. The last Fantasy game for the event is now open to play, with the HLTV x Roobet league allowing players to win skin prizes as well as cash from the spring leaderboard.
All five NAVI players feature in the most popular picks
After making their way to the semi-final by topping Group A, it is not surprising to see Natus Vincere dominate the list for the most popular picks. Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev ($192,000) and Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy ($198,000) both show great value for players that are widely expected to make it to the final, while Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev ($250,000) remains the most expensive choice after another fantastic tournament.
Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth is the only player from Astralis to make it into the list, but with good reason. The Dane has so far accumulated a 1.04 rating across the two phases of IEM Cologne, and with a price tag of just $175,000, could turn out to be a good budget pick.
Keep an eye on Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke ($198,000), the 25-year-old has been in good form for Astralis with a 1.14 rating, and could be a good investment ahead of his match against MOUZ.
Finn “karrigan” Andersen ($177,000) and Håvard “rain” Nygaard ($205,000) are the FaZe representatives in this edition of the top picks. The Norwegian largely played a solid group stage as the international squad secured their place in the semi-final without dropping a single map.
The prizes for the IEM Cologne HLTV x Roobet League are as follows:
1. Huntsman Knife | Bright Water (Field-Tested)
2. Gut Knife | Bright Water (Field-Tested)
3. Shadow Daggers | Bright Water (Field-Tested)
