IHC have announced the acquisition of Tuvshintugs “Annihilation” Nyamdorj from NKT on Sunday, solidifying the AWPing presence on their team with a promising up-and-comer from their country.
The new player, who averaged a 1.10 rating across the past three months, will take place of IHC‘s previous AWPer nin9 who sits on a 1.03 rating for the same period. Albeit, the latter player did play against tougher opposition, having attended the PGL Antwerp Major after his team topped the Asian RMR.
IHC have a new AWPer
Despite being just 24 years old, nin9 was one of the more experienced players in the Mongolian scene, playing with domestic teams such as TheMongolz, Mazaalai, and TIGER over the past four years. He has now been moved to an inactive role on the team, while Baatarkhuu “Bart4k” Batbold remains on the bench.
The transfer comes following IHC‘s 1-3 loss to Rare Atom in the grand final of ESL Challenger Season 41 Asia, a defeat that cost the Mongolian team a spot at the next Pro League Conference competition.
IHC are now:
Bat-Enkh “kabal” Batbayar
Tengis “sk0R” Batjargal
Garidmagnai “bLitz” Byambasuren
Sodbayar “Techno” Munkhbold
Tuvshintugs “Annihilation” Nyamdorj
Erdenedalai “maaRaa” Bayanbat (coach)
Baatarkhuu “Bart4k” Batbold (bench)
Yesuntumur “nin9” Gantulga (inactive)
