Is Hideo Kojima’s OD Xbox Exclusive? Answered

The Game Awards presentation showed tons of compelling titles this year. God of War: Ragnarök is getting a DLC, Bethesda and Arkane Lyon are developing a Blade game, Capcom’s Monster Hunter Wilds is scheduled to release in 2025, and those announcements only scratch the event’s surface.

Among the most astonishing titles is Kojima Production’s OD. The game’s teaser is short yet impressive, with incredible graphics and acting. It’s one of the most anticipated games, and many wonder if it’s an Xbox exclusive.

Though nothing has been confirmed, OD will likely be an Xbox exclusive. Kojima Productions and Xbox Game Studios are teaming up to release the horror game. It wouldn’t be surprising if it only came out on Xbox and possibly PC.

Jordan Peele, the director of “Nope,” “Us,” and “Get Out,” and other unknown credible writers are working with Hideo Kojima, the creator of the Metal Gear Solid franchise and Death Stranding, to make OD an unforgettable experience. Kojima said they’re “[taking] on the challenge of creating a very unique, immersive, and totally new style of game – or rather, a new form of media.”

According to the Kojima Productions site, OD examines how much fear people can withstand and what it would be like to overdose on it.
