Jack Conklin Suffers ACL Injury, Out for Season

Cleveland Browns offensive tackle and anchor of the offensive line, Jack Conklin, is now out for the entire season. Reports indicate that he suffered a torn ACL and MCL and will now have to wait until 2024 to get back on the field.

The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday.

Conklin is generally seen as one of the best offensive tackles in the entire league, especially at the right tackle position. He was named to the All-Pro team during his rookie season in 2016 and again in 2020. Despite those honors, he has no Pro Bowl appearances.

The last time Conklin played every game in a season was in 2019. In the subsequent years, he’s missed one, nine and three games, respectively. He’ll now miss 16 in 2023-2024. This is his second severe ACL injury.
