Jude Bellingham set to headline INSANE Future Stars squad in FUT 22

The FIFA 22 Team of the Year (TOTY) promo will soon come to an end and the full Ultimate XI is now in packs in Ultimate Team.

However, we’re looking ahead to an old favourite that will be returning soon.

The Future Stars promo is always one of the most popular and we expect nothing different in FUT 22, so check out our predictions for the hotly anticipated event here.

Latest – Token swaps confirmed

FUT Sheriff initially revealed more information about the upcoming Future Stars promo in Ultimate Team. EA has since stepped in to confirm it as the next promo as well as the return of token swaps.

It looks like Future Stars token swaps will be introduced this year but will run throughout the final week of TOTY too!

EA went on to reveal a little more info on their site including the below chart breaking down what you can earn with your tokens.

According to FUT Sheriff, the Future Stars promo is up next in Ultimate Team!

Of course, everybody’s attention is firmly fixed on Team of the Year right now, but we can start to get excited about the fan favourite promo.

Future Stars

Future Stars is a promotional event in Ultimate Team with special Future Stars player cards handed out to the most promising youngsters in world football.

Only players who are aged 23 or younger will be eligible for a Future Stars card.

These Future Stars cards will represent players at the expected pinnacle of their careers, rather than right now.

Release Date

The Team of the Year promo is set to run for the next week or two, but that is yet to be confirmed.

So, we could see EA kick off the Future Stars promo on either Friday, 4 February or Friday, 11 February.

The Future Stars cards will be released into packs at approximately 1pm ET / 6pm GMT on the day of release.

Jude Bellingham (OVR 92)

It’s absolutely astonishing to think that Jude Bellingham is still 18 years of age, with the English midfielder already operating at a world-class level.

The Borrusia Dortmund player is the complete midfielder and is arguably the most promising youngster in world football right now, which could see him pick up this incredible 92 OVR Future Stars card in Ultimate Team.

Pedri (OVR 91)

Barcelona’s 19-year-old Pedri is another central midfielder who has been playing at the highest level for the past year or so.

The youngster starred for Spain at Euro 2020 and has been exceptional for Barca too, so we think EA could hand the little magician a 91 OVR Future Stars card.

Emile Smith Rowe (OVR 90)

Emile Smith Rowe has been on FIRE for Arsenal this season, scoring nine goals whilst providing two assists already.

The Gunner’s 21-year-old, who is now a senior England international, could be rewarded with this insane 90 OVR left-winger card in Ultimate Team.

Dusan Vlahovic (OVR 90)

Dusan Vlahovic has caught the eye of several European giants over the past couple of seasons, having set the record for the most Serie A goals scored in a calendar year at the age of just 21!

The Fiorentina striker will no doubt be getting a Future Stars card this year and it could look somewhat like this 90-rated card that has brilliant shooting, pace and physical stats.

Maxence Lacroix (OVR 87)

Now, here is one that we’d LOVE to see! 21-year-old Wolfsburg defender Maxence Lacroix was the talk of the town when FIFA 22 was first released as his base card had 88 pace!

Should EA give the Frenchman a Future Stars version, his pace would be boosted well into the 90s, with his defending and physical stats not far behind!

Nuno Mendes (OVR 86)

Paris Saint-Germain new boy Nuno Mendes has impressed since arriving from Sporting in the summer, showcasing not only his blistering speed but also his technical ability.

The 19-year-old would no doubt prove a popular card in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, with brilliant links to the likes of Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappe.
