K23 add trio to complete team

Artem “iDISBALANCE” Egorov, Rassim “Jyo” Valijev, and Sanzhar “def1zer” Talgat have been brought in to reinforce the CIS team, which had been depleted to just two players following the departures of Vladislav “FinigaN” Usov, Timur “clax” Sabirov and Bogdan “xsepower” Chernikov from the active roster. Pavel “PASHANOJ” Legostaev was also brought into the team to fulfill the role of secondary coach.

K23 recently made waves by qualifying for the IEM Road to Rio 2022 Europe RMR in October, where they narrowly missed out on a Major spot after a loss to BIG in the deciding series of the 2-2 pool. The organization then went through a rebuilding phase following its unsuccessful campaign and now once again fields a full roster.

iDISBALANCE will be the team’s main AWPer

With the new trio, K23 have brought in a combination of new blood and experience. iDISBALANCE and Jyo are seasoned players who last turned out for Nemiga, where they played together for over a year. iDISBALANCE is otherwise most known for his time at Spirit, where he spent two years before getting removed in favor of Abdul “degster” Gasanov.

Young gun def1zer is the roster’s new blood, with his only HLTV match before linking up with the K23 squad being an appearance for Kazakhstan U18 in September, where the 17-year-old posted a 1.45 rating. The final addition to the team is secondary coach PASHANOJ, who has played for a myriad of CIS teams in his time as a player and how transitions to his first coaching role in CS:GO.

The roster has already played some matches with their new players, placing second in the European Development Championship 6, with clax playing for the team in place of iDISBALANCE.

With these additions, K23 now have:

Russia Daniil “X5G7V” Maryshev
Russia Konstantin “Raijin” Trubarov
Estonia Rassim “Jyo” Valijev
Russia Artem “iDISBALANCE” Egorov
Kazakhstan Sanzhar “def1zer” Talgat

Kazakhstan Aset “Solaar” Sembiyev (head coach)
Russia Pavel “PASHANOJ” Legostaev (secondary coach)
