League of Legends Briar Abilities Leaks

During the first Riot Games showcase for 2023, the third League of Legends champion was officially revealed. They did not have a name for it, only that it would be something that would live in a castle that looked similar to something from Castlevania. Now during the latest League of Legends champion Roadmap, a name was revealed, Briar. It looks as if the League of Legends Briar Abilities Leaks have come to light, here is a look at what they are.

Briar is certainly going to be an interesting champion. More because of what she is than anything else. She is a vampire. What is interesting is that League of Legends already has Vladimir. But is he really a vampire?

The answer to that one, is no.

Vladimir is actually a Blood Mage and although he looks like a vampire and is named after one, he is not a vampire. Instead, he uses hemomancy which again is Blood Magic.

Now it would seem as though Briar will potentially be a combination of Vladimir and Warwick. There was a hunger mechanic described for the champion. This was something that was hard for Briar to control and could have led to her taking out most of Noxus. Even the pictures they have used to describe her are interesting but still have not shown much.

Passive– Name Unknown

Briar has no natural health regen, but her attacks apply stacking bleed and the bleed heals Briar for part of the damage and the healing does improve at low health.

Q- Name Unknown

A gap closer. Briar leaps into an enemy unit, stuns it and breaks the enemy’s armor

W- Name Unkown

Briary breaks the pillory and chases the nearest enemy, starting her “blood frenzy” while active Briar has extra move speed and attack speed.

Briar can recast W, it makes it so her next attack takes a chomp out of the enemy she hits, dealing extra damage based on missing health and healing Briar for a portion of the damage.

E- Name Unknown

Briar refocuses and goes back to the Pillory. She lets out a powerful scream that damages and slows enemies. While charging/casting E she takes reduced damage and heals part of her Max HP.

R- Name Unknown

The first enemy she hits, Briar dashes into it and fears other enemies around on contact. She goes into a superior Blood Freny and gets additions MR, armor, lifesteal and move speed.

There is no doubt that Briar is going to be an interesting champion. It sounds like she will be easy to learn but hard to master. A way that the League of Legends Devs have been choosing to go as of late with all of the new champions.
