Levante are set to play hosts to Granada at the Estadi Ciutat de València this Monday in La Liga with both teams coming from the same form in the midweek.
The home team comes into this on the back of a 2-2 draw with reigning champions Atletico Madrid during the midweek causing the reigning champions all kinds of problems at the Ciutat de Valencia. Goals from French forward Antoine Griezmann and Brazilian Matheus Cunha for Atletico Madrid were cancelled by a brace from Enis Bardhi for Levante.
With the departure of Paco Lopez in the international break has seen Levante on a better run and have managed to score five goals in two games since his departure against two probable title challengers in Atletico and Sevilla. Granada side on the other hand snatched a 97th minute equalizer at home to Quique Sanches Flores’ bottom of the table and winless Getafe last week. A first half goal from Turkish striker Enes Unal for Getafe was cancelled out by a second-half goal from veteran attacker Jorge Molina for Granada.
A mix of struggling to create chances alongside the inability to prevent them is a dangerous one and Robert Moreno’s spell has been quite a poor one so far but they do appear proactive in attack. Granada look to climb up the table too but it’s easy as they have left without a victory over Levante when they have played them away from home in the previous 2 league matches.
