Mohamed Sanu to Sign Deal with Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins are adding a veteran receiver via free agency. Mohamed Sanu is reportedly signing a deal with the Dolphins. Miami has spent its offseason revamping their offense, as they have made offensive line replacements and have signed Tyreek Hill. Sanu is their latest new piece.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday.

Sanu was originally drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He, then, bounced around to the Falcons, Patriots, 49ers (twice) and the Lions. The Dolphins will be his fifth team since entering the league.

In 2021, in his second stint with the Niners, Sanu played in eight games (zero starts). He had 15 receptions for 177 yards and zero touchdowns. The most touchdown receptions he had in a season came in 2017 (with the Falcons), and the most yards he has ever collected stands at 838 in 2017.
