Ah, the mighty Mecha Trojan. Inspired by the legendary story of the Trojan horse (look it up, those of you who flunked history class), this big wooden beast is pretty tough to beat. But with a helping hand from yours truly, you’ll be taming the Mecha Trojan in no time.

Below, I’ll show you the best lineups to break this monster. Plus, since I’m in a weirdly generous mood, I’ll even share my masterful wisdom on the Mecha Trojan Set. Let’s get started!

How to Attack Mecha Trojan?

Let’s cover the basics since I know you might have a hard time keeping up. The Mecha Trojan will appear on the Kingdom Map for 2 hours and 55 minutes. That’s how much time you’ll have to beat it. But don’t worry. With my advice, you’ll smash that thing to smithereens in minutes.

So, how do you defeat it? Well, the Mecha Trojan is strong to physical attacks. It’s a giant wooden horse with armor and spiky bits sticking out its sides, after all. This alone should create an obvious strategy for those with more than two brain cells.

No?

Let me spell it out, then. Hit this beast with magic attacks. Set it on fire. Blast it with lightning. Freeze it in ice. All that good stuff from INT heroes! Fortunately, there are plenty of them, both F2P and P2P, who can get the job done, like Elementalist and Storm Fox.

However, the big old Mecha Trojan won’t just sit there and read you poetry while you try to destroy it. This thing hits back, and it hits hard! Mecha Trojan can also stun your heroes, so you may need to throw a healer into your lineups to survive, especially at higher levels.

Mecha Trojan F2P Lineup

Now, let’s talk lineups, starting with F2P heroes you can use without paying a single dime. This lineup won’t fail you so long as you’ve leveled up the relevant heroes.

If you haven’t maxed out your hero roster, you might have a tougher time. Maybe you should put some more time into the game and stop messing around with stuff like working or studying or socializing.

In all seriousness, even if you don’t have these heroes at max level, you can swap out one or two of them for similar characters and you should be fine. And don’t forget to use your highest-level heroes when facing monsters. Using low-level guys is a one-way ticket to Deathville.

Level 1-3 Mecha Trojan F2P Hero Lineup: Sage of Storms, Incinerator, Elementalist, Snow Queen, Bombin’ Goblin

If you’ve read some of my other guides (if not, what stopped you?) you’ll probably be familiar with this lineup. It’s my go-to team for lower-level monsters that don’t like magic. Like I always say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, and this lineup certainly ain’t broke!

The combination of Elementalist, Incinerator, and Snow Queen works so well. All three of those heroes can blast and freeze any sucker in their path, including the Mecha Trojan. Meanwhile, Bombin’ Goblin and Sage of Storms provide valuable support.

However, once higher-level Trojans start appearing outside your walls, you might want to switch things up a little.

Level 4 Mecha Trojan F2P Hero Lineup: Sage of Storms, Incinerator, Elementalist, Snow Queen, Prima Donna

For the level 4 match-up, I recommend, no, I order you to drop Bombin’ Goblin and bring in Prima Donna. PD is one of the game’s best healers, perhaps even the top hero for F2P players overall. She’ll help you keep on breathing in the face of the Trojan’s frenzied attacks.

Level 5 Mecha Trojan F2P Hero Lineup: Child of Light, Incinerator, Elementalist, Snow Queen, Prima Donna

Finally, for level 5 encounters, we’re sticking with the core trio of Incinerator, Elementalist, and Snow Queen. But we’re also bringing Child of Light in for some extra support and strength. It might seem odd to sub out a magic user in favor of a strength hero. But trust me, it works.

Why? I really shouldn’t have to explain myself to you, but Child of Light can stun the Trojan to slow it down a little. Plus, it can weaken the monster’s magic defense, making it even more vulnerable to your other heroes’ attacks. Any more questions? No? Okay, let’s move on.

Mecha Trojan P2P Lineup

If you don’t mind paying up for a little extra power in the game, there are some terrific P2P heroes to use against Mecha Trojan. And, unlike the F2P section, where I made a few adjustments depending on the level, the P2P lineup is the same no matter which Mecha Trojan you’re facing.

Level 1-5 Mecha Trojan P2P Hero Lineup: Twilight Priestess, Petite Devil, Elementalist, Incinerator, Storm Fox

That’s right, we’re sticking with the Elementalist-Incinerator double act. What can I say? Those two just work so well together. They’re just as effective as most P2P magic heroes in terms of damage output.

The key P2P heroes for the lineup are Petite Devil, Storm Fox, and Twilight Priestess. Petite Devil and Twilight Priestess both have stun potential to slow the Mecha Trojan down. Meanwhile, Storm Fox can do decent damage while also powering up your other heroes.

Mecha Trojan Rewards

If you’ve been following up to this point, you’ll now be able to beat Mecha Trojan very consistently. And the more Trojans you take down, the more loot you’ll be able to stuff in your pockets, alongside all those candy wrappers and mounds of Cheeto dust.

But what kind of loot does this monster leave behind? Here’s a quick list that even you should be able to understand.

• Chest (Common to Legendary, depending on the level)
• Speed Up (Between 1h and 24h)
• Shield (8h to 3d)
• Gems (200 to 1,000)
• Gold (15k to 600k)
• Trojan Jewel
• Ancient Blueprints
• Oily Spring
• Refined Gunpowder
• Rusty Horseshoe

As well as the usual stuff, like gold and gems, the Mecha Trojan can drop a Trojan Jewel. You can stick that bad boy into your equipment to enjoy a 15% boost to infantry HP and 5% faster travel speed. Not too shabby, huh? As for the other items, like Ancient Blueprints and Rusty Horseshoes, those are used for crafting the Mecha Trojan Set. I’ll discuss that in the next section, so scroll down now!

Gears

The Mecha Trojan Set consists of five items. They’re not all amazing, but one or two, like the Firewall Plate and Malicious Saw, are totally worth getting. Here’s a closer look at each piece, complete with stats boosts and my expert opinion:

• Secret Totem: This accessory grants(at Mythic level) a 9.8% boost to infantry ATK and army DEF, as well as a 21% increase in infantry HP and siege engine ATK. So, if you like to use a lot of siege engine troops, like catapults and fire trebuchets, this is a super handy gizmo to have.
• Firewall Plate: This is the shining star of the Mecha Trojan Set. As an armor piece, it offers a colossal 42% boost to cavalry and siege engine ATK power, along with 21% more army HP and 28% infantry ATK. Again, when you’re using siege engine troops, this armor is simply incredible.
• Corrupted Boots: Equip this on your leg slot for 21% boosts to (you guessed it) siege engine ATK and HP, as well as 14% more infantry ATK and DEF. It’s a pretty well-rounded and relatively cheap item to obtain.
• Malicious Saw: A main-hand weapon, the Malicious Saw offers 35% more siege engine ATK and DEF, as well as 35% more infantry ATK and 21% more DEF. It’s another very solid item to invest in, and it’ll make sieging so much easier. With this item, walls and traps will crumble before you.
• Viral Switchblade: The final piece of the puzzle is the off-hand. This gives you 35% more siege engine ATK, 28% siege engine DEF, and 21% boosts to infantry and ranged ATK power.

Mecha Trojan Packs

If you want an even easier way out (and if you don’t mind splashing some cash), you can opt to buy Mecha Trojan Chests. These chests contain a random assortment of the items and materials you’d usually get for beating a Mecha Trojan. So they’re pretty handy if you need a certain material to finish crafting something.
