NFL Draft Prospects to Watch in College Football Week 12 Recap

While the 2023 NFL Draft is still far off in the distance, players that will be drafted early are on the field now. Each week presents unique matchups for draft prospects and this week is no different. Here are NFL Draft prospects to watch in college football week 12 recap.

1. Anton Harrison, OT, Oklahoma Sooners

Oklahoma hasn’t had quite the season they envisioned. They just reached bowl eligibility with a win over their rivals Oklahoma State. Harrison blocked well on the offensive line, as he helped the Sooners pass for 259 yards and rush for 175 yards.

Although he was called for a hold in this game, it was a questionable call. Harrison has been good in pass protection this season and that has been a coveted skill at the next level. He is currently projected to be a first or second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

2. Jordan Addison, WR, USC Trojans

USC has had a great season. The offense has played well and they are in position to make the College Football Playoff if they win out. They defeated UCLA and Addison was a major reason why. He finished the game with 11 catches for 178 yards and a touchdown.

Addison displayed his good route-running and ability to run after the catch in the game against UCLA. It wasn’t the stiffest competition from a matchup perspective, but it was a big game and Addison delivered. He is currently projected to be a first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

3. Zay Flowers, WR, Boston College Eagles

Boston College has had a season they will want to forget and that included their matchup against Notre Dame. With a backup quarterback in, they couldn’t move the ball and lost 44-0. Flowers did the best to help the situation with one rush for seven yards and three catches for 46 yards.

The game likely won’t hurt the stock of Flowers, even with the production taking a dip. He has game-changing speed, which he shows after the catch and when he beats corners deep. Flowers is still likely going to be selected on day two of the 2023 NFL Draft.

4. Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OT, Penn State Nittany Lions

Fashanu didn’t travel with the team to Rutgers with an injury. James Franklin hasn’t detailed what the injury is exactly. He is still a projected first round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

5. Myles Murphy, EDGE, Clemson Tigers

Clemson has just one loss on the season and kept that rolling with a win over Miami, 40-10. They had an excellent performance from their defense. One of the many great players on the defense was Murphy who finished the game with two tackles and one tackle for loss.

Murphy had a much bigger impact on the game than the box score would indicate. He garnered attention from plenty of blockers during the game. Murphy is a good all-around defender who showed a good long-arm move against the Hurricanes. He is a projected first-round pick.
