NFL Picks Week 7: Colts at Titans Featured Game

The midpoint of the NFL season is quickly approaching and teams look to position themselves for a postseason run down the road. There are numerous key matchups with the Colts and Titans headlining the list.

Indianapolis Colts versus Tennessee Titans

Both teams head into action “burning hot” on the Team Strength Oscillator. The Colts have a +17 to +14 edge on the Power Ranks Indicator. The Titans are 2.5-point favorites with odds of 1.73 to 2.10 and an over/under set at 42.5. The Score Predictor has the Titans in a 32-12 rout with confidence in the prediction of only 31 percent. Kansas City comes in “average” and +28 on the Power Ranks Indicator, while the 49ers are “average down” and +23, respectively. Note that the Chiefs are a bit more stable at +2 to 0 on the Team Volatility Oscillator. In a game going “over” the line, the Chiefs will win and cover.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers versus Carolina Panthers

The Panthers are going nowhere fast and after the Christian McCaffrey trade are nearly a two-touchdown home underdog. The line is 13.5 points in favor of the Buccaneers with odds of 1.12 to 6.10 and an over/under of 39.5. The Buccaneers are “average down” versus “dead” on the Team Strength Oscillator and +18 to +13 on the Power Ranks Indicator. Thre is little to believe that the Panthers can stay anywhere close in this one. The Buccaneers will roll and I pick “under” the line since the Panthers will have a difficult time cracking double-digits in points in this one.

Cleveland Browns versus Baltimore Ravens

In this AFC North battle, the 2-4 Browns face the 3-3 Ravens. Cleveland is “ice cold down” and +12 on the Power Ranks Indicator, while the Ravens are “average down” and +25, respectively. Baltimore is a 6.5-point home favorite with odds of 1.340 to 3.220 and an “over/under” of 47.5. The Score Predictor sees this as all Ravens, 35-12 with 46 percent confidence. Cleveland has been very unstable at -1 on the Team Volatility Oscillator. The Ravens will win and cover in a game going “under” the line.
