As  the end of October approaches, the NBA season is getting into full swing. There are a handful of games for October 30 with the Suns hosting the Rockets highlighting the action.

Houston Rockets versus Phoenix Suns

The Rockets enter “ice cold down” on the Team Strength Oscillator and +8 on the Power Ranks Indicator.  On the flip side, the Suns are “burning hot” and +23, respectively. The Score Predictor has the Suns by a 117-114 score with 65 percent confidence. Houston has been involved in games “over” the line in three of their last six and the Suns have been “under” in four of their last six. I like the Suns to win, perhaps by double digits in a game “under” the line.

New Orleans Pelicans versus Los Angeles Clippers

Los Angeles enters this home contest struggling a bit at “ice cold down” on the Team Strength Oscillator and +13 on the Power Ranks Indicator. New Orleans is “average up” and +24, respectively. The Score Predictor likes the Pelicans on the road to win by a score of 117 to 112 with 59 percent confidence. New Orleans has been trending in games “over” the line, while Los Angeles has been trending “under”. Note that the Pelicans have been unstable at -2 on the Team Volatility Oscillator. Go with the Clippers to rebound at home, but pass on the “over/under” bet.

Golden State Warriors versus Detroit Pistons

The Warriors are coming off a loss and are “average down” on the Team Strength Oscillator and +20 on the Power Ranks Indicator. The Pistons haven’t found their game yet and are “dead” and +4, respectively. The teams have been involved in games “over” the line in 11 of the last 12 combined. The Score Predictor likes the Warriors by a 110-104 margin with 73 percent confidence. The Pistons have been extremely stable, at +4 on the Team Volatility Oscillator. I see the Warriors winning by at least ten points in a game “over” the line.

Denver Nuggets versus Los Angeles Lakers

The Lakers haven’t found their way in the early part of the season and are “dead” on the Team Strength Oscillator and +1 on the Power Ranks Indicator. Denver is “average up” and +13, respectively. The teams have been trending on opposite sides of the “over/under” which makes me pass on that bet. The Score Predictor has the Nuggets in a 120-107 blowout with 50 percent confidence. Notice that both teams are relatively stable at +1 and +2 on the Team Volatility Oscillator. In the end, I like the Nuggets to continue the Lakers’ woes
