The July 11 beta patch for Overwatch 2 was released, and players were looking forward to the changes that Mercy and Moira would receive after the June 28 beta patch. After the July 11 beta patch was released, Overwatch players took to Reddit and Twitter to ask for Moira to be nerfed.
Overwatch 2 players are not happy with the update that Moira received in the July 11 patch. Moira’s Necrotic Orb ability has the capability to reduce 75% damage of an enemy.
This change was added after the countless efforts that Blizzard developers have done to try and rework Moira. Players are not a fan Necrotic Orb ability as it makes other heroes less powerful.
Players went to Reddit to discuss what Blizzard can do to perfect the ability that they had in theory. Users suggested to reduce the orb by 50% and others prefer it to only do 25% damage to the enemy.
Blizzard developers are taking feedback from players through their open forum. Blizzard is known to take notes from players and make changes in upcoming patches.
